Islam and Christianity share many foundational beliefs, including belief in one God and moral accountability.
However, key differences define each tradition.
Christianity centers on Jesus as divine and central to salvation.
Islam honors Jesus as a prophet but not as divine.
Christianity includes the concept of the Trinity.
Islam emphasizes absolute unity of God.
Christianity is based on the Bible.
Islam is based on the Qur’an.
Despite these differences, both traditions promote ethical living, charity, and devotion.
Understanding both similarities and differences allows for more meaningful and respectful dialogue.
